A one of a kind pendant, featuring a stunning banded porcelain jasper. The jasper hangs below a small brass coral and is accented with two sparkling sapphires in shades of pink. The jasper is a natural, untreated stone, with swirls of light pink, bright pink and white, bought from a local artist who had cut it himself.
I molded an actual piece of coral and had it cast in solid brass. The jasper is set in a hand fabricated sterling silver bezel, which has been given a lightly hammered texture.
Brass will tarnish with age, just like silver does. It will attain spectacular dark patinas. If you prefer a bright finish, wipe it with a polishing cloth and the brightness will return.
Material: brass, with sterling silver bezel and pins. Natural, untreated porcelain jasper and two pink sapphires. Dimensions: pendant measures 25mm by 15mm. Sapphires are approximately 2mm.
